SIOBHÁN(SHIV-VON) = IRISH NAME FEARON(FEAR-RON) = ALSO AN IRISH NAME
Siobhan has always seen portrait photography as a collaboration between herself and her subjects, working together to tell a story. She started out photographing portraits of fellow creatives and designers for press-kits and event posters in Melbourne in 2008. In 2009 she travelled back to Europe as a camera-happy tourist, fully realising her passion for photography and returning to Australia committed to working in the photographic industry. Since then she has built up a varied portfolio of portraits from many creative collaborations. Whilst freelancing for community arts organisations in South Australia in 2014/15 Siobhan found her groove professionally, utilising her hard skills as a photographer and a highly organised administrator whilst also being able to employ much of her broad soft skill set. Siobhan is deeply passionate about community and social justice and has volunteered with community groups and not-for-profit organisations. Siobhán currently resides in the central highlands of Western Victoria, Australia.
